In 1997 Philippine Fashion Week was born on the runways of Glorietta Activity Area in Ayala Center. Its early years saw the participation of mostly commercial fashion brands and group show designers in a presentation that took place for 7-10 days once a year.
But as the industry progressed and at the dawn of its new decade, Philippine Fashion Week made the brave decision to reformat its platform aligning itself with a bi annual presentations alongside global fashion weeks around the world . In 2008, Philippine Fashion Week lite up the runways at its new home at the SMX Convention Center & SM Mall of Asia and welcomed more designers and local brands to take part in the Bi Annual Event.
Today Philippine Fashion Week is the Olympics of Fashion and is the longest running fashion event in the country- celebrating Filipino talent and creativity twice a year generating over P 150 million in media exposure locally, regionally and globally.

2 favorite creation that i like from Albert Andrada
Day four opened with a collection from Anthony Ramirez entitled “Sous La Lune”. Literally translated “Under the Moon”, the collection celebrates those hot summer night outs. Anthony Ramirez tamed a bit of his signature sexy style by showing off the shoulders and the back. Done in neoprene fabric, these pieces cling to every lovely cure. He ended with the vavavoom Ruffa Mae Quinto walking down the runway with a see through gown which he describes as the perfect blend of the designer and the client.
